Saturday Rides
Early Morning Gathering
Pre-register and find the route calendar on TeamApp. Meet at 6:30am on Saturdays at Lane Cove Plaza (125 Longueville Road). Come prepared with your bike in good working order and essential gear.
Group Ride Experience
Join the pace group that matches your ability. Our experienced ride leaders ensure everyone rides safely and enjoys the experience. All groups regroup after climbs.
Post-Ride Social
After our ride, we gather at Two Brothers Cafe for coffee and conversation. It's the perfect opportunity to build friendships beyond cycling.
Ride Groups and Route Information
Lane CoVélo features four distinct ride groups, each following a regular set of routes tailored to specific fitness levels and riding abilities. Each group follows established routes with predetermined distances for reliable planning.
A Group
Flat Pace: 30km/hr
5% Climb Pace: 16km/hr
Route Examples: West Head, Brooklyn, Akuna Bay
Distance Range: 70-100km
B1 Group
Flat Pace: 28km/hr
5% Climb Pace: 15km/hr
Route Examples: Akuna Bay, Church Point, Pie in the Sky
Distance Range: 60-90km
B2 Group
Flat Pace: 26km/hr
5% Climb Pace: 14km/hr
Route Examples: Cottage Point, Crosslands Reserve
Distance Range: 50-85km
C Group
Flat Pace: 24km/hr
5% Climb Pace: 12km/hr
Route Examples: Balmoral, Lane Cove National Park
